Start Date: April 1 | Estimated Completion: Mid to End of July
♥Updates June 17th 2025:
We’re officially about five-ish weeks away from the finish line of our construction adventure—can you believe it? Things are about to get extra spicy as the contractors start cutting through actual walls, so brace yourselves for a bit of creative chaos.
🔨 Drywall and taping are nearly done, and concrete polishing kicks off this week. It might get a bit noisy and dusty—thank you in advance for rolling with it!
🍽️ The kitchen wall in the staff area is coming down, and the kitchen will be temporarily relocated. We’re hopeful the dishwasher will remain in action, but just in case, you may need to use the staff washroom sink for towel prep and dishwashing for a little while.
👕 Our washer and dryer are almost ready to be installed in their forever homes, which will make laundry flow smoother and faster for everyone.
🪑 And something to look forward to—you’ll start seeing new furniture and seating pop up in the staff area very soon!
Heads up: the staff area will be a bit of a circus during the transition. Expect some mess, some noise, and maybe even a mysterious Tupperware sighting or two.
The noise so far has been surprisingly tolerable—aside from a few unexpected “power tool concerts.” Huge shoutout to all of you for managing client expectations with calm and grace. You’ve done an amazing job keeping things smooth, and we truly appreciate it.
Let’s keep going strong—we’re nearly there! 🙌
As you know, we are expanding the clinic, adding 6 more treatment rooms, and expanding the staff area to serve more clients and enhance our space. Renee and I have been working tirelessly over the past 6 months to make the clinic a space for everyone to feel comfortable and welcome in, and to make it the best for all of you!
Major Staff Area Changes:
Please be patient when the construction gets to this point in the build, as things will be extremely tight, and regular daily procedures may need to be adjusted.
The staff kitchen will be relocated, and the wall will be opened up into the new space.
Plumbing work will be done, which may cause temporary disruptions to access to water. Washrooms, laundry etc. The contractor has assured us that any disruptions to plumbing should all be completed during off hours and we shouldn’t see any set-backs.
New washer and dryer units will be installed.
I will be putting up an image shortly of the new floor plan on the staff updates page for you all to take a peek.
Any other major changes will be mainly in 320 (the new space next door) with an addition of a new sliding door in the lounge (same as the other) opposite the current one to get to the new treatment rooms.
Personal Belongings: Until construction complete, please do not leave any personal items at the clinic (lunch containers, water bottles, clothing, jackets, shoes, items that would typically be left behind and sit in the cubbies, etc.). Cubbies may be removed for a period of time. Anything left in the back staff area have a high chance of getting lost, or misplaced, or even thrown away as there will be a lot of activity happening.
Coats/Personal items like backpacks or purses may be hung up in the front desk coat closet (left at your own risk), do not leave personal items on the desk or behind the desk. The front desk staff are not always up front to watch constantly – so if you don’t want to loose it, don’t bring it (until construction is completed and things have settled).
Outdoor Shoes should be stored in the front shoe closet (remember, this is shared space with clients – please keep everything organized at all times – no extra shoes may be kept here; only bring what you need).
